Yaaaaay it's over!!! Well, mostly. There's still the inventory to be accounted for and taken to storage, various things to be paid for, the post con meeting, and all that other crap. Poor Kimi. She thought we were finally going to have our dining room back, but now there's more stuff at our house than ever! And then there was the UHaul truck we rented... yeah.

In other news, my oldest sister is engaged. And I'm gonna be in the wedding! And she wants me to take her pictures! Damn I feel important.

And now the real update, Naka Kon. It's here! I can't believe I've been working on this thing for almost a year now, scares the hell out of me knowing I'm gonna see what all my work amounts to. I really hope I did an adequate job. I WISH to have done a great job and everyone is happy, but I'll be thrilled if it turns out I only made par. It's really sucked the life out of me these past few months, and I'm worried that I just didn't rise to the task. Nathan told me to remember to have fun, and I want to. I'm tired of worrying. Right now, even though I know I'm not gonna sleep tonight and I keep thinking of what needs to be done, I'm slowly filling up w/this feeling of 'whatever will be, will be'. So I'll continue doing what I've been doing, trust that it's enough, try to make things easier for everyone, maybe buy a new bag since I've had bad luck w/them lately, and when it's over I'll sleep. I really hope everyone has a good time, that'd make me feel kinda awesome.

What a hellish shift ^_^ I got to take off all the people who waited until the last day possible to go back home after Christmas.

I thought it would be a lift of spirits to watch White Christmas before work. Thank you Lifetime... you managed to take one of my favorite holiday movies and cut so much out of it that there's not only hardly ANY of the songs in it, but to the poor person who might be watching it for the first time it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Example: It jumps from the boys singing in the club, straight to the train club car, completely skipped the song "Snow", straight to the Vermont lodge lobby, straight to eating after what should have been another musical number.

Are we now under pressure to cut movies on TV down to an hour including commercials?

I am sick, I caught the plague or the con crud or something but it won't leave me alone. I figure I'll get better if I just take it easy since the past weekend has been busy like whoa :P

So then, I want to make myself some soup. Sick people need soup. We have no clean dishes :( I've wanted to clean them for a few days now, but it would involve emptying the dishwasher full of clean dishes and putting my germs all over the plates my roommates will eat off of. But I need a bowl :( But the sick is too full to just wash it in the sink and the counter is rather lacking in room as well.

RANTING!!!

A few days ago I looked into my bank account and found that I had gone into the negative. Upon a quick review I found where I had miscalculated and immediately deposited an amount to cover it. IN THAT SAME DAY I thought now was as good a time as any to open the savings account I had intended to open w/a check my Grandmother had sent me for the holidays. I went to the bank, making sure it was before 3, and listened to the bank worker list off options before I went ahead w/my plan of splitting the check to put half in my rather low checking account and half into the new savings account. Go adult me. Right.

This morning I went to check my account because I wanted to know how much was put in through direct deposit of my paycheck to find my account much lower than I'd anticipated. Scrolling down there were many overdraft charges (understandable, even if irksome), but there were more than there should have been. My larger deposit to my checking account only went through yesterday, so 4 more charges were made in the negative apparently. I quickly got dressed and went to the bank to ask why this had happened. I got as far in my story as 'making sure it was before 3' when the teller says 'we switch over at 2'.

This is Penny walking away before she blows up at someone whose fault it isn't. I know it's my fault for not following my account more closely... but DAMMIT!!! I thought I'd fixed that! If I'd known they switched over at 2 I wouldn't have made any more purchases!!!

so I was talking to a friend the other day, and it was remarked that I'm quite cynical.

I am? How long has that been going on? I don't remember always being cynical, but I guess they're right. It just seems strange to me, that wouldn't really be one of the words I'd pick out to sincerely describe myself. Weird :P

It happened again! That damned Spangles woman came through my toll booth and I didn't realize it until she said 'thanksh'. One day... one day she will come through and I'll look up in time... and she will rue the day she started making annoying commercials and playing them every 5 minutes!!!

I went shooting w/boy roommate today! And I HIT the target!! I actually did not so terrible, I managed to hit the target almost everytime. Except when using the revolver w/.38 special rounds (rounds? you know... bullet thingys...), that was a little less gentle.

I haven't much to report really. Just working and being fabulous (as always). Oh yes... I love Avatar. You heard me. Avatar: the Last Airbender, that kid's show. The first awesome show I've seen from Nickelodeon in ages, if the not the best ever. I recommend it, it is hilarity and cuteness.

Nathan got us all pumpkins! We needs to carve them someday, but my Halloween spirit has been yet again awakened. I was asking management if we can dress up at work, and she seemed a little worried by the question. I may get out of having to work that night just by her wondering what I want to dress up as. Score! ^_^

My laundry is clean, my dishes are done, my room is somewhat organized(ish), I feel overall productive. And the wheel turns...
